hear wah goin' on in tobago 🇹🇹
put your brand in the story, not just another advert.
paid brand sponsorship opportunities | nov 2026 + beyond
what if more people discovered your brand through content they actually wanted to watch?
real people, real conversations, unexpected discoveries + the kind of experiences that make someone stop scrolling, share a video or start planning a trip.
we're inviting a small number of brands to sponsor ‘hear wah goin' on in tobago?’, a content series connecting audiences in the uk + internationally with the people, culture and experiences of tobago.
series duration: 4 weeks
-
they want something worth watching.
your customers see promotions every day, but how often do they get to see your brand being part of something real?
a good story gives people a reason to pay attention, remember you + feel connected to what you do.
rather than interrupting someone's experience with an advert, your brand becomes part of the experience itself.
whether you're trying to reach new customers, reconnect with existing ones, introduce a product or build stronger cultural relevance, we'd love to explore how this series could support that.
-
different businesses have different goals. let's start with yours.
reach new audiences
introduce your brand to people in the uk, the caribbean + internationally who may not have come across you before.build a stronger connection
be associated with genuine conversations, memorable experiences + stories people can relate to.promote something specific
a new product, service, song, campaign, destination or offer you want more people to know about.stay visible beyond one post
become part of a wider content series, with opportunities for repeated exposure across agreed videos.create content with a longer life
explore content usage rights so selected videos or photographs can also support your own marketing.encourage people to take action
through relevant calls to action, links, recommendations or promotional offers.the aim isn't simply to put your logo in front of people, but to give them a reason to remember it.

hear wah goin' on in tobago?
a content series by london-based artist + cultural producer oleta semple (@ms.semple).
starting during tobago carnival (30 oct – 1 nov) and continuing for 4 weeks to start, the series will explore the island through short-form videos, conversations, local discoveries + spontaneous experiences.
from food spots and hidden gems to music, carnival, local businesses, culture + everyday life.
the kind of content that makes people say, "wait, where's that?!"
i've visited tobago five times over the last two and a half years, and my videos have already introduced people to the island, sparked conversations + led to requests for recommendations.
now i'm building on that with a dedicated series and a small number of sponsors.
-
you don't have to sell something in tobago to be part of the story.
the opportunity is to connect what your brand offers with the people watching.
a telecommunications company could help keep the journey connected.
a food brand could become part of a family gathering or local experience.
an airline could help bring the adventure to life.
a bank could support stories about local entrepreneurs.
a musician could have their song become the soundtrack to a memorable moment.
a beauty or lifestyle brand could be part of carnival preparations, everyday routines or experiences on the island.
the best placement is one that makes sense without having to force it.
we'll explore how your brand could naturally feature while supporting your own marketing objectives.
05 / ways to sponsor the series
-
a limited number of paid sponsorship opportunities are available, giving brands the chance to reach new audiences, build stronger customer connections + become part of the experiences unfolding in tobago.
each partnership is tailored to your marketing goals, with agreed content, visibility + deliverables.
-
become a recognised partner throughout the campaign.
your brand receives a consistent presence across the series through recurring mentions, tags, natural product integrations + agreed promotional content.
ideal for brands looking to build awareness, strengthen cultural connections + reach audiences over several weeks rather than through a single advert.
-
be part of the journey from beginning to end.
for airlines, travel companies + related brands looking to reach people interested in visiting the caribbean.
partnerships include a campaign fee alongside agreed travel support, such as flights, accommodation or production expenses, with your brand integrated into relevant travel content throughout the series.
-
make your products part of the experience.
for food, drinks, beauty, fashion, technology, financial services + lifestyle brands.
your products or services feature naturally in relevant moments throughout the series, from carnival preparations and everyday routines to food discoveries, conversations + island adventures.
-
let your music become part of the memories.
for soca artists, musicians, record labels + music teams looking to introduce their music to new audiences.
promote a new release through agreed music placements, recurring use across selected videos, artist features or dedicated promotional content.
-
depending on your chosen partnership, deliverables include:
✓ natural product + service placement
✓ recurring brand mentions, tags + integrations
✓ dedicated sponsored videos
✓ branded features, interviews + conversations
✓ music placement + artist promotion
✓ inclusion in agreed campaign materials
✓ links, promotional offers + referral codes
✓ agreed content usage rights
✓ post-campaign performance reporting -
all sponsorships are paid commercial partnerships, with fees, deliverables + timelines agreed in advance.
flights, accommodation, products or services can form part of a partnership, but do not replace the agreed sponsorship fee.
packages are tailored to your objectives, budget + desired level of involvement, with opportunities for both individual features and series-wide sponsorship.
-
the relationship doesn't have to end when the series does. i'm also open to ongoing partnerships, content production + future campaigns beyond this trip.
let's talk about what you're trying to achieve.
rather than offering a one-size-fits-all package, i'd love to understand your marketing priorities + where you'd like to see your brand in the coming months.
from there, we can put together a sponsorship arrangement that makes sense for both of us.
-
because i've already been telling these stories.
i'm oleta semple, a london-based artist, cultural producer + founder of riónce arts club.
over five visits to tobago, i've shared the places i've discovered, the people i've met and the things i've learnt with my audience.
some of these videos have reached thousands of viewers and encouraged people to ask questions, share their own experiences + consider visiting the island.
a few examples:
tobago introduction — 13k views across platforms
discovering doubles in tobago — 10k views
today's word: mamaguy — 18k views
things i'll miss about tobago — 18k views
these are examples of previous organic content, not guaranteed results for sponsored posts.
i'm not arriving to discover tobago for the first time. i already have a relationship with the island and an audience that's been following those experiences.
my background in photography, fashion, music, creative production + community building also means i'm interested in more than simply posting a product.
i want to make something people enjoy watching.

before putting a package together, i'd love to understand:
what are you trying to achieve over the next 3–6 months?
perhaps you're launching something new, trying to reach a different audience, looking to increase awareness or wanting people to connect with your brand in a different way.
whatever the objective, i'd rather understand it first than offer you a package that doesn't make sense for your business.
we can discuss your audience, priorities, budget + what a successful partnership would look like.
from there, i'll put together a proposal with the suggested content, deliverables, timeline + sponsorship fee.
-
01 / have a chat
tell me what your brand is working towards + what you'd like to achieve.02 / receive a proposal
we'll explore a suitable sponsorship arrangement, including deliverables, costs + timelines.03 / make it happen
once agreed, we'll plan your brand's involvement and get things moving.with tobago carnival starting on 30 october, i'm currently prioritising conversations with brands interested in getting involved at short notice.
sponsorship opportunities will also be available throughout the following weeks.
