  • the event venue residency [wave iii] is a selective programme for event curators, brands & teams who create powerful in-person experiences and need a home to bring them to life.

    this is an opportunity to run your events from one of our spaces, backed by the riónce name and community.

    you’ll get regular access to a private (time-shared) venue in southeast london, business coaching; creative, accountability & pastoral check-ins, community events, and a final gala + showcase to share what you’ve built.

  • this residency is part-funded by riónce. you tell us what you can contribute towards venue costs, and we match the rest (and more).

    typical resident contributions range depending on:

    • event type

    • venue choice

    • special requirements

    • frequency of use

    • penda — large open space, 1500 sq ft, suited to markets, shows, and big experiences

    • ladywell — intimate studio, 650 sq ft, perfect for workshops, classes, small pop-ups, or wellness sessions

    • our new venues — ranging in size and function (details shared with relevant applicants).

  • To ensure a fully beneficial experience, fund recipients are expected to get involved in:

  • As part of the Riónce Event Residency, you'll be expected to document and share your work in a way that benefits both your brand and the wider Riónce network.

    • Produce a “Day/Week in the Life” reel during each studio session; offering a behind-the-scenes look at your process, team, or event setup.

    • Share consistent updates on social media, tagging @rionceartsclub and using the hashtag #RiónceRippleFund. This increases visibility for both you and the residency.

    • Co-create at least two posts per month with Riónce Arts Club. these could be event highlights, reflections, testimonials, or promotional spotlights.

    • Work collaboratively. Invite your team, clients, or creative partners into the space. The more your work connects with others, the greater the ripple effect.

    • Upload all relevant content (BTS, reels, photos, press shots, final outputs) to your shared folder for possible cross-promotion across Riónce’s channels and newsletters.

    This isn’t just content for content’s sake, it’s brand storytelling, audience growth, and long-term positioning. Your visibility fuels ours, and vice versa.

  • you’ll be part of a group of curators and teams running regular events across our venues. so, we ask that you play an active role in building visibility; for yourself and the wider ripple fund network. you’ll need to:

    • tag all collaborators and partners on your content to maximise visibility

    • invite 2 people to collaborate on at least one ripple fund post per month

    • share updates about your events, prep or behind-the-scenes via feed or stories

    • attend at least one riónce community event per month to meet the wider cohort

    • check in with your cohort to share learnings and momentum

    • tag @rionceartsclub in all residency-related content for potential reshares and added reach

    by showing up, sharing your process, and championing others, you’ll amplify your own brand while contributing to the riónce manifesto & wider mission.

  • we’ll share your journey and experiences with the riónce community, and beyond.

    [a/b] written article & documentary

    we’ll highlight who you are, what you do, and how the residency has supported your growth. your story will explore barriers to vision execution and revenue growth, while showcasing your work to potential collaborators and clients via our platforms.

    you’ll offer insight into your creative process, challenges, and achievements during the residency; including how the venue, riónce and the wider community have supported your journey, and whether you’d recommend the experience to others.

    what we’ll need from you:

    • a few short interviews with the riónce team (virtual or in-person)

    • high-quality images of your work or behind-the-scenes shots

    • headshots of you and your team

    we’ll also ask you to create a short (1–2 minute) video reflecting on your time at riónce arts club. this will be shared across our website, instagram, and newsletter to promote the programme and inspire future applicants.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the studio/ shared spaces and be responsible for any damages during your use.

  • on a warm summer evening, we’ll gather for the annual riónce ripple gala – a chance to mark the moment together.

    designed by the riónce community, this one-night occasion (at one of our southeast london venues) will celebrate the events you’ve actualised the ripple effects & lasting impact you’ve had.

    a space to share what you’ve built, connect with others in the industry, and feel proud of how far you’ve come as a team.

  • you retain full copyright of all your work.

    by taking part, you grant riónce arts club a non-exclusive license to share your content (including reels, images and documentation created during your residency) across our channels for marketing and promotional use.

    this helps us amplify your work, build visibility for your brand, and demonstrate the ripple effect of the residency to future partners, collaborators and applicants.

    the process:

  • after the 5-month residency, most residents will have the option to continue using the venue at a negotiated rate, subject to availability.

    all applicants also receive exclusive discounts on standard memberships and event access going forward.

    you’ll remain part of the riónce alumni community, with check-ins offered once per 4-month term, and continued access to opportunities, conversations, and events.

    we also spotlight feature past residents throughout the year via:

    • our zine and newsletters

    • instagram takeovers and live interviews

    • throwback, updates and ‘new work’ social media posts

  • this residency is built for those who know what they bring; who are ready to curate with intention, deepen their impact, and build with a venue + community, that understands & wholeheartedly supports their vision.
